Our online housing application offers applicants placement on the waiting list of all available developments for which they may qualify.
Waiting lists for Campau Commons Apartments, Creston Plaza Apartments and the GRHC Scattered Sites Program are closed to new applicants due to long existing lists.
GRHC-Owned Family Developments

Campau Commons Apartments | 92 Units
821 Division Avenue South, Grand Rapids
Located adjacent to a public park and near downtown Grand Rapids, this 92-unit development features one- to four-bedroom apartments that range in size from 843 to 1,370 square feet. Monthly rents are based on each tenant’s ability to pay and are no more than 30 percent of a family’s adjusted monthly income.
Creston Plaza Apartments | 100 Units
1080 Creston Plaza Drive NE, Grand Rapids
Located near shopping and transportation in a well-established Grand Rapids neighborhood, this 100-unit development features one- to four-bedroom units that range in size from 800 to 1,200 square feet. Monthly rents are based on each tenant’s ability to pay and are no more than 30 percent of a family’s adjusted monthly income.
Scattered Sites Program | 20 Units
Locations throughout Grand Rapids
The GRHC’s “Scattered Sites” program leases duplex and single-family units to qualified low-income families.
Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program
The GRHC’s Housing Choice Voucher program provides a tenant-based rental subsidy that helps low-income households renting privately owned property in Kent or Ottawa counties.
This program is currently closed to new applicants.
The GRHC also operates developments that serve older adults.
Project-Based Voucher Units
The GRHC administers Project-Based Voucher rental subsidies for the partner-owned developments listed below.
