The GRHC offers artists and artisans volunteer opportunities through a unique arts initiative at our Mount Mercy Apartments retirement community. “Art at the Mount” is an intergenerational art program that brings the Grand Rapids creative community and Mount Mercy residents together to explore various forms of artistic expression.We are interested in working with professionals and skilled amateurs engaged in a wide variety of artistic, musical and performance endeavors. The GRHC has an ongoing need for donations of food and paper products to stock resident food pantries and for donations in support of Hope Community, a transitional housing program that serves homeless women and children.
